Product Description

The vertical design of Evertech cartridge-type dust collectors maximizes the filtration efficiency of these cartridges, while minimizing the maintenance required on horizontal design cartridges. Indeed, cartridges mounted horizontally lose up to 30% of their filtration capabilities due to dust accretion at the bottom cavity of the media, and for this reason, horizontally-mounted cartridges must be rotated periodically in order to maximize their performance and durability. This is not the case for vertically-mounted cartridges, since they allow dust to fall freely down to the bottom of the dust collector without altering their filtering efficiency.

Filtering Cartridges Cleaning System

The cartridges are cleaned by a pulse of compressed air blowing inside them. The reverse pulse momentarily halts the flow of air passing through the cartridges in order to remove dust on the outer surface. The dust then falls to the bottom of the barrel.

The pulse intervals are controlled by the Sequential Controller, which collects and compares static pressure data on both the dirty and clean side of filters simultaneously. When the pressure loss falls out of the predefined limit, the system generates pulses inside the cartridges until the pressure loss is within the acceptable interval.

When the sequential controller is no longer able to stabilize the static pressure, it is time to replace the filter cartridges. Unlike conventional cartridges found on the market, it is unnecessary to clean them since the dust builds up on its surface only rather than deeply inside the substrate, so it releases easily upon the pulse. Also, replacing the cartridges is fairly easy – it can be accomplished from outside the dust collector’s housing and without tools.

Key Parts Introduction

  • Cartridge filters

-The filter cartridge is made of Donaldson material, filter efficiency of 99.999% at 0.5 micron

    - The filter material is folded and used to increase the filter area and make the dust collector structure more compact

-Strong dirt holding capacity, high filtration accuracy, strong adsorption, and low blockage probability

-The filter cartridge element is small and easy to install.

  • Pulse valve control

The pulse-jet systems Cartridge Dust Collector is an aspirated cartridge, self-cleaning dust collector. Incoming air passes from the outside to the inside of the cartridges, enters the clean air plenum and exits through the clean air outlet. Cartridges are effectively cleaned by back flushing with airflow reversal that is induced by a short burst of compressed air to each cartridge sequentially. As a result, the unit continues to collect dust even as its filters are being cleaned.

  • Filter cartridge dust collector structure

The structure of the filter cartridge dust collector is composed of the air inlet pipe, the exhaust pipe, the box body, the ash bucket, the ash cleaning device, the diversion device, the air flow distribution plate, the filter cartridge and the electric control device, similar to the air box pulse bag dust removal structure . The arrangement of the filter cartridge in the dust collector is very important. It can be arranged vertically on the flower plate of the box body or inclined on the flower plate. From the perspective of the cleaning effect, the vertical arrangement is more reasonable. The lower part of the flower plate is the filter chamber, and the upper part is the air box pulse chamber. An air distribution plate is installed at the entrance of the dust collector.

  • Pulse controller

The pulse controller is the main control device of the pulse dust collector for blowing dust. Its output signal controls the electromagnetic pulse valve to clean the filters cyclically to ensure the processing capacity and dust collection efficiency of the dust collector.

The pulse controller can modify the control parameters at any time and save when power off. Because the control parameters of the system have special protection measures, even in a particularly harsh environment, the control parameters can still be kept safe.
