Room size

The right room size is dependent on the size of the largest piece you are trying to blast. The sandblasting room should be large enough to accommodate the largest work piece and provide ample room for the blasting personnel to work. We recommed 700-1300mm of workspace around the object being blasted.

Doors

In addition to one more personnel entrance/exit doors, the main doors where the objects to be blasterd enter and exit the blast enclosure are an important cosideration. Typically two methods are used. The first is a single in/out door that is used as both and entrance and exit. The second is a flow-through design with doors on both ends of the sandblasting room where objects enter from one end, and exit thourgh the door. Depending on your type of operation, flow-through designs can be a major improvements on work flow.

Other door system can be incorporated when necessary for production efficiency such as a pneumatic side door. The style of the door is also an option.

Door styles include:

-Swing muanual doors

-Rolling up doors

-Custom doors

Material handling

One of the most important considerations when desiging the sandblasting room is how the object items blasterd are going to be moved in and out of the blast room. When it comes to materail handling, thre are several options that can speed up moving objects in and out of the enclusure.

Work cart(rails in the floor)-Rolling work carts are also a great solution for heavier items. The objects to be blasted is placed on the work cart outside of the room and rolled in to be blasted. The wheeled work carts stays in the room during blasting and can be mounted on tracks or rails when required.

Monorail-Monorail systems can be installed inside the blast room or outside with a brush seal providing containments of abrasive within the room. Monorails allow objects to be huang below them and moved in and out of the room and can be motorized.

Overhead cran-When blasting heavier items, an overhead crane is a great option for material handling. The crane is installed above the blasting room and uses a brush seal to keep abraive from escaping during blasting.

Accessing all sides of an object items can start to be an issue when it is very large. There are options available that are far superior and safer than using ladders.

Catwalks-catwalks can be installed in taller blast rooms to allow access to taller items from a stable platform. The can run the entire lenght of the blast room or only a portion of it. The can be installed on one side of the senclosure or more.

3-Axis Man-Lift- When you need to get at an object from both sides and different heights, we can configure a blast enclousre with a 3-axis man - lift that can place the operator virtually anywhere in the blast room.

Reclaim floor system

Sweep-In Reclaim System

The “Sweep-In” reclaim system is the most basic and economical design of the abrasive floor reclaim systems. This sweep-in reclaim system consists of a metered gravity feed floor hopper, a belt and bucket elevator assembly, an air-wash separator with rotary scalping drum and a free-standing abrasive storage hopper.

This sweep-in reclaim system can be labor intensive based on the volume of blasting and the size of the blast room. Abrasive must be manually shoveled or pushed into the gravity feed hopper for reclaim. If your operation is low-volume , then the sweep in reclaim system provides a cost effective solution for media recycling. This design is not recommended for medium to high production blasting operations.

Single Screw Partial Reclaim System

A single screw partial reclaim system is the most economical floor design available. It contains a single screw type auger located at the back wall of the abrasive blast room. The single screw partial reclaim system contains the major components found in all sandblasting room reclaim systems including metering shed plates, heavy-duty screw, belt and bucket elevator, 20” airwash separator, perforated plate rotary drum separator and oversized abrasive storage hopper with a caged man ladder and handrail. This is a basic “automatic” reclaim package that can be expanded to an “H”, “U”, or full floor reclaim system, allowing the operation to be expanded at a later date as the needs grow. It is best suited for low to medium production levels.

H-Shaped Partial Reclaim System

The “H”-shaped partial reclaim system is typically used in an enclosed abrasive blast room design that allows for positioning of the work piece in between two longitudinal metered screw assemblies along each side wall of the blast room. The position of the screw assemblies allows the abrasive delivered from the blasting nozzle, which is either blown or rebounded off the work piece, to strike the side walls and fall into the screws; automatically reclaiming approximately 60-90 percent of the blast media. The remaining abrasive on the floor is pushed into the metered shed plate screw assemblies at the end of the work shift. The “H”-shaped floor design is typically utilized in a “flow-thru” room configuration where heavy work pieces, and/or material handling devices, can drive into the room and position the work piece on the steel covered concrete floor located between the longitudinal screws. This system is best suited for medium to high production.

U-Shaped Partial Reclaim System

The “U”-shaped partial reclaim system adds two longitudinal metered screw assemblies along each side wall of the blast room and positions the cross screw along the back wall of the blast room. The position of the screw assemblies allows the abrasive delivered from the blasting nozzle, which is either blown or rebounded off the work piece, to strike the side walls and back wall of the blast room and fall into the reclaim system. A U-shaped reclaim floor design will automatically reclaim 60-90 percent of the blast media.

The remaining abrasive on the floor is pushed into the metered shed plate screw assemblies at the end of the work shift. The U-Shaped partial reclaim system design is typically utilized in an “in-out” room configuration where heavy work pieces and/or material handling devices can drive into the room and position the work piece on the steel covered concrete floor located between the longitudinal and cross screw assemblies. This system is best suited for medium to high production.

Full Floor Reclaim System

The full floor reclaim system utilizes multiple screw assemblies to create a fully automatic, high volume abrasive reclaim system where 100% of the abrasive blast media is returned to the separator system during the blasting operation. This allows for a faster reclaim as well as full recycling of the abrasive media, saving your blasting operation both time and money. The Full Floor Reclaim System allows for maximum efficiency of your abrasive blast system.

The full floor reclaim design requires that the material handling of the work piece be intricately designed into the configuration of the room. The full floor reclaim system involves multiple screw assemblies covered by a grating.  Material handling of the work piece includes a work car/truck system, an overhead monorail crane, an overhead bridge crane, or heavy-duty floor grating and support steel sized to allow a forklift to drive onto the reclaim floor.

The full floor reclaim design can be used with any room configuration. This abrasive blast reclaim system is well suited for pass-thru and/or high production requirements.

Key Parts Introduction

  • Sandblasting pot

-The pressure sandblasting pot could contain high volume of abrasives which allows continuous abrasive flow.

-Advanced imported abrasive controlling valve, air pressure valve and pneumatic switch compose the reliable pressure sandblasting system.

-The abrasive flow can be easily controlled by regulators, not only saving the abrasive but also reach high sandblasting effect.

  • Abrasive recovery system

-Abrasive and other debris collected by the reclaim floor system arrives at the base of a mechanical bucket elevator where it is moved to the top of the abrasive recovery tower. At the top. the abrasives/debirs mixture is moved to the trash separation step.

-Air wash/magnetic separator/abrasive hopper feeding abrasive blast pots with trash & undesized abrasive collection drums

  • Personal protective equipment

    -Air fed helmet

This product uses just the strength of the ABS material, accord with national safety standards, ensure that breaking is not broken, avirulent insipidity, never fading and discoloration; With inlet guide groove, let the air flow uniform distribution around, the mainstream to the front of the picture frame, remove the breathing air,
